Spotlight on: Pastoral Care and Prayer Ministry

On Sunday, we heard Scott remind us that we are on God's mission - and that mission is to restore and redeem broken beings. The beautiful thing about this is that we are invited to join in on God's mission, and that there is a place for each of us to use our gifts and talents for the Kingdom.

At the moment two key things for SJB, in order to take care of God's people, are strengthening our Pastoral Care team, and growing our Prayer Ministry team.

If you are passionate about supporting members of the church and might be interested in joining the Pastoral Care team please contact Grace (hello@sjbchurch.co.uk) and she will arrange a conversation with Scott or Sami.  We will give some training and ongoing support if you join the team.

Through prayer ministry, we allow God to speak and work in our hearts, lives, and circumstances.  If joining the Prayer Ministry team is something that interests you please contact Grace and she will add your name to an invite list for a training session in the Autumn term.
