Partnering with Enderby Parish Church

If you have been at church or a prayer event recently, you may have heard Enderby mentioned. If you missed why it is significant for us, here's an update for you:

St John's is part of the Church of England, and a Resourcing Church within the Diocese of Leicester - that means we have been given a mandate by the Bishop to plant or help revitalise churches (that will hopefully plant other churches!) in order to see the growth of God's Kingdom.

As a Resourcing Church, we are forming a partnership with Enderby Parish Church (aka St John's), Enderby. We will support them and we believe that God will bring growth - particularly with a focus on young families and serving the local community. At the same time we hope to support them in building up to a place where they may also plant another church, by making disciples and training and releasing new leaders.

We are excited for all this partnership could bring; in these early stages we are working with the PCC at Enderby to discern the next steps and we value your prayers.
