At St John’s we want everyone to feel a sense of belonging to our community, one of the ways this happens is through being part of a small group. We strongly encourage everyone to join a group and you can find out more about each group below. If you would like to get in touch with the leaders you will often find them in church on Sundays, you can also send an email to: hello@sjbchurch.co.uk or fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Young Adults

Time : Thursdays 7.30-9pm

A community of students and young professionals aged 18-30, gathering for faith, fellowship and fun.

Discovery
Leaders: Vikki Antill
Time : Every Thursday 7:30pm-9pm
About : A growing community of people, discovering Jesus and enjoying each other; through sharing stories, unpacking the bible, prayer and fun whenever possible!!
Connections
Leaders: Shirley Parsons
Time : Every Thursday 2pm-4pm
About : Mostly older and more isolated people but also people who like to meet up to do craft and chat. We chat, laugh and craft.
Mothers’ Union
Leaders: Joan Davies-Bushby
Time : Third Tuesday of each month at 2.15pm

At the moment our membership is made up of the more senior members of our church although younger members would be more than welcome and despite our name, men are welcome to join.
Activities include visiting speakers, visits to places of interest, social events and
fundraising.
Leaders: Piers Lindley
Time : Wednesday evenings, 7:30pm
About : We are a small friendly group who meet to study, share life stories, our faith and experiences and support each other spiritually and in other ways. We have an informal relaxed style of meeting. There are currently 12 of us in the group though only eight of us meet regularly online.

About : We are a group of Mums of little ones from different churches and backgrounds, seeking to go deeper in their relationship with God and looking to pass it on to those in our communities. We spend time in the Bible, praying for each other and seeking to hear God’s voice in our lives, amongst the busyness and distractions
